Laura De Boel is an associate at Hunton & Williams and specialized in EU data protection law. Prior to this role, she worked as an associate at another international law firm in Brussels.
Laura has worked on various pan-European data protection law projects, including international data transfers, outsourcing, whistle-blowing, social networking and HR. She has published articles on data protection law in Privacy & Data Protection Journal, Nymity – Privacy Interviews with Experts, Privacy Laws & Business International Report as well as the International Bar Association’s Convergence.
Laura obtained her law degree from the University of Antwerp and the University of Paris (René Descartes), and an LL.M. in International and European Law from the Free University of Brussels.
